The accessibility of Fortes Change Cloud
The accessibility statement
Fortes Change Cloud has been providing software solutions to large enterprise and government organizations for 25 years. Government organizations are required by the Government Digital Accessibility Decree to prepare an accessibility statement. All government websites and apps including content are covered by this law. This includes intranets, extranets and cloud applications. Because Fortes Change Cloud is part of this, we offer insight into our accessibility.
Accessibility research
In early 2026, we had a baseline measurement performed. This revealed several points for improvement. These points for improvement have been included in our planning.
In September 2026, the Accessibility Foundation conducted a comprehensive accessibility audit of Fortes Change Cloud. This audit yielded a number of findings. Based on these findings, Fortes Change Cloud has been assigned the status “partially compliant” (status B): some of the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA have not yet been met.
Fortes is addressing the findings in the software. We are tracking the progress of this work as part of our regular development planning. In mid-2027, we will have a follow-up assessment conducted to verify that the findings have been resolved.
The September 2026 research report is valid for three years, through September 2029. We update this statement at least once a year; the next update will be no later than September 2027.
Our accessibility ambition
We aim for level AA within the WCAG2.1 standard. That is, Fortes Change Cloud meets all requirements for observability, operability, understandability and robustness with the level A and AA.
